TJ Clarke

TJ joined Giving Tree Capital, LLC in 2020 as an Executive Partner and brings consumer products expertise specifically around commercial operations excellence, supply chain continuous improvement, and commercial strategy.  He believes in investments that help improve people's lives and was attracted to Giving Tree's core strategy.

TJ's focus has been on consumer products through his work as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group. H e has conducted multiple buy-side due diligence for private equity and strategic buyers as part of BCG's Principal Investors and Private Equity arm.  Prior to BCS, TJ managed teams for Deloitte in the Strategy and Operations group modernizing and transforming supply chains while reducing costs and driving operational efficiencies in manufacturing.

TJ earned a BS in Statistics from Penn State University in 2013 and continued on to earn an MBA with concentrations in Finance and Supply Chain in 2015.  He has a strong background in data and statistics with a growing interest in machine learning.  He is hungry for challenges both mentally and physically.  When he is not working on investment due diligence, growth, and risk management he is training for the next physical challenge - either an Iron Man, Spartan Race, or just imply establishing a new personal record.  He is passionate about continuous training of the mind and body and the competition in constantly doing better in his pursuits.  Life, to TJ, is the ultimate optimization problem.
